Looking for IT support & NOC opportunities

I’m a former teacher moving into IT. I work on home networks, troubleshoot Windows, and use AI tools to build things I want to exist.

That includes a community platform, local research tools, camera effects, and a rather ambitious movement game. My part is setting the direction, testing what comes back, and working through what breaks.

Working prototype

From a broad idea to a simpler product.

I’m directing an evolving community platform with personal portfolios. Recent work has focused on simpler navigation, private file storage, and a way to recover uploads made before creating a full account.

I use AI for implementation, then review the experience and test the results. Local AI organisation is still experimental: valid-looking output isn’t enough when it puts facts under the wrong project.

02 / Local AI & troubleshooting

Research on my own machine.

A Python research workflow using Ollama and LangGraph, with saved progress and questions answered from local excerpts.

In related portfolio experiments, a GPU startup failure led to a minimal reproduction and a CPU fallback. I reviewed the results for factual accuracy and rejected automatic publishing when the model mixed up projects.

03 / Home lab & support

Networks, recovery,
and everyday fixes.

Hands-on work with an ASUS AX6000 router, Wi-Fi and VPN troubleshooting, Windows 10/11, and Ubuntu dual-boot and recovery setups.

I’ve also helped informally with remote desktop, software installs, and GPU issues. This is home-lab and personal support experience—not a claim of enterprise administration.

Other things I’m making

Creative work & ongoing experiments

04 / Godot prototype

Hope in Movement

A movement-focused game with an orbital setting, free roaming, and experimental modes with computer-controlled rivals. I direct the movement and world design, play-test builds, and report what needs changing.

05 / Blender

3D asset experiments

Scripted models, materials, rigs, and game-ready exports. This neon figure is one of several iterations developed through visual direction and review.

06 / Android

Camera effects

On-device body tracking for gesture effects and a foot-juggling camera game. Current work is about coordinate alignment, tracking dropouts, and testing on a folding phone. Still a prototype.

Java / CameraX / ML Kit

07 / Search algorithms

Huarong puzzle visualiser

A visual exploration of sliding-block puzzles and how different search strategies move through the same problem.

React / TypeScript / Three.js

08 / Movement systems

A portable movement core

An experimental C++ core separating movement rules from game-specific integrations. A way to explore bounded simulation steps, input checks, and clearer boundaries between systems.

C++ / Experimental game adapters

Experience & qualifications

From teaching
to technical support.

I taught in China before moving toward IT. Explaining unfamiliar ideas, adjusting to the person in front of me, and staying patient are a big part of what I bring to support work.

I’m looking for my first formal IT role, with a particular interest in network operations. I’m open to help desk and IT support opportunities, remote work, or relocation.
